🎨 Commission a Painting
There’s something truly special about owning a one-of-a-kind painting created just for you. Whether you want to capture a favorite place, a meaningful memory, or a color palette that brings joy to your space, I’d love to bring your vision to life through my art.
Each commissioned piece is a collaboration, blending your ideas with my creative style and techniques. Together, we’ll design a painting that reflects your personality, your story, and the atmosphere you want to create in your home.
To get started, simply send me a message with your idea and reference photos, and I’ll provide a quote and timeline for your project.
Art Commissions Policy
Custom Paintings by Karen C. Williams
I love creating custom paintings that hold personal meaning for my collectors. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please review my commission policy below.
Deposit & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price is required to begin your commission.
This deposit secures your place in my schedule and covers materials, planning, and creative time.
The remaining balance is due once the final painting is approved by you.
Reference Materials & Color Preferences
Please provide clear reference photos of the subject or concept you would like painted.
Include, in writing, any specific colors you wish to include—or exclude—in your painting.
Once we’ve discussed the composition, I’ll provide an initial concept for your approval before painting begins.
Timeline
Custom paintings generally require up to 8 weeks for completion, depending on size and complexity.
I’ll keep you updated throughout the process and notify you when your painting is ready for final approval.
Revisions
One round of minor changes is included in the commission price.
Additional revisions may be subject to extra charges based on the scope of the change.
Final Approval & Ownership
Once you approve the finished painting and pay the balance, the artwork is yours to enjoy.
If you decide not to purchase the completed piece, you are not required to pay the remaining balance. I will retain the non-refundable deposit, and the artwork will remain my property and may be offered for sale in my collection.
Shipping
If shipping is required, the client is responsible for all shipping and insurance costs.
Refunds
All sales are final. Once a commissioned painting has been approved and paid for in full, no refunds or returns are accepted.
